Vehicle undercarriage protection involves applying a specialised dedicated coatings / treatments to the underside of the vehicle to shield it from corrosion, road salts, and other environmental hazards. This preventive measure helps extend the lifespan of critical components like the chassis, suspension, and exhaust system by forming a barrier against rust and deterioration caused by exposure to moisture, salt, and debris encountered during driving and in the U.K. this really takes a big toll on the underbody of the vehicles especially living on a seafront that is exposed to the elements.

Lanoguard is a great option for new/mild rusted surfaces as it has some rust inhibitor properties within the product as well as being a sealant for future rust occurrence, little preparation is needed to apply this but still undergoes some undercarriage work prior application for proper bonding to metal surfaces.
The durability of the product is advised to be an annual application and the more top ups it receives the better affect it will have at doing the job. The annual top-ups of Lanoguard are £150.

Bilt Hamber is one of the leaders in anti corrosion and rust treatments so makes an excellent choice for undercarriage protection because the product is a rust converter and primer in one. It chemically reacts with existing rust to neutralise it, forming a tough, durable layer that prevents further corrosion, transforms rust into an inert, protective barrier, stopping it from spreading.
This method is a 2 stage process that is followed up after curing with a very well established durable anti corrosion wax that can not be washed off and offers a durability between 5-10 years.
